Downtown SF at sunset, Jan. 07 2025

Happened to be in downtown SF with a camera right around sunset, and figured I'd wander a while instead of immediately hopping on Bart. Still getting used to the 17-55mm! The warping from the FOV is so much more visible than the 100-400mm that I've been primarily using for the past couple years.

Picture an office building, almost completely obscured by two much larger ones in front of it. It's late in the day, lights are turning on, and the earth-tone facades are looking darker by the minute -- but behind it all the sky's still light blue, and the bright sky is still reflected in the glass of the building at the back; hints of waning daylight that aren't so visible from the street.
