I got some pictures of the sunset the other day. The sunsets here are beautiful — sometimes.

Lately I've been going for walks in the evenings, and every once in a while, the conditions are just right for a fabulous sunset. Unfortunately it's also rare enough that just bringing a camera isn't enough – it's hard to get enough interesting clouds without the sun also dipping below the clouds on the horizon before the light starts turning wonderful shades of orange and red.

But! A couple days ago, I got lucky, so decided to treat it as a kind of "sunset study" — not aiming to get the most beautiful photos ever, but to portray the beauty I saw in a relatively typical sunset.
