Took a few photos taken while wandering around York before my on-call shift.

Seems like weekdays are the right time to go see the shambles – it gets packed at the weekend with everyone wanting to get their own version of the same picture :)

Anyways - the light had this kind of ethereal quality, bright and sunny, yet cloudy enough that the sky was still a blanket of white.
