There were a few very similar photos I took of this scene, some focusing instead on the office buildings in the background. In the end, I settled on this one.

The dynamic range on this photo was hard – Darktable really came to my rescue this time. The lighting on the stump needed to be bumped up a bit, and the clouds over the city weren't even visible as distinct clouds in the original RAW! I was super pleased with how it came out.
