Layers of buildings in downtown San Francisco, from within them
Over the summer of 2021, I had an internship at a databases startup partially based out of San Francisco. The company was still pretty young (and COVID going strong), so our SF office only had a few people coming in regularly.
I'd often spend a lot of time gazing out the window to this view, watching container ships pass through the bay or people walking down below.
In this photo, it's just barely possible to see the opposite opposite shoreline, which I carefully determined was at least 40 miles away!
