At this point up the mist trail, there was already significant water on my lens – giving this photo a particular kind of effect that wouldn't be as strong otherwise.

Fun fact: Vernal Fall was originally called "yan-o-pah", meaning "little cloud", before it was named by a member of the california militia in the Mariposa War, part of the California Genocide.
