The sun finally rising above the distant ridge

We were waiting for so long to get this photo – our hands were absolutely freezing. I'd tried to get some other photos with my neutral-density filter, but it wasn't quite coming on so the entire thing was out of focus – and of course I didn't want to try to force it.

Overall, getting up to see the sunrise was 100% worth it.
